FreeRange Communications (“FREERANGE”) is not the author of the content delivered by the FreeNews™ service and claims no copyright, license, or other ownership interest in such conent. FREERANGE does not control in ANY WAY what content is made available to users of the FreeNews™ service through any particular RSS feeds or websites. Users of the FreeNews™ service alone decide what content they will receive. All content is delivered directly from the referenced news source, and FREERANGE does not and cannot control the content delivered from any linked source. Users of the FreeNews™ service are responsible for complying with all applicable federal and state laws applicable to the use of such content, including all copyright laws. FREERANGE respects federal and international copyright laws and expects users of the FreeNews™ service to do the same. Unauthorized copying, distribution, modification, public display, or public performance of copyrighted works (not considered fair use) may be an infringement of the copyright holders' rights. As a condition to every user’s FreeNews™ account, the user agrees that the user will not use the FreeNews™ service to infringe the intellectual property rights of others in any manner. If FREERANGE receives notice of a single instance or repeated occurrrences of infringement of the rights of third party content providers by a user of the FreeNews™ service, FREERANGE shall have the right to immediately terminate the user’s account without further notice and terminate such user’s access to the FreeNews™ service. In addition, FREERANGE reserves the right to terminate the account of any user of the FreeNews™ service, if FREERANGE has a reasonable basis to believe that conduct of the user or the nature of any content delivered to the user (a) violates any state or federal law or regulation, (b) is harmful to the interests of FREERANGE, its affiliates, or other users of the FreeNews™ service, or (c) for any other reason in FREERANGE’s sole and absolute discretion, with or without cause. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (the text of which may be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website at http://lcweb.loc.gov/copyright/), FREERANGE will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the FreeRange™ service that are reported to FREERANGE's "Designated Copyright Agent" identified below.
