This is happening because this site requires username and password to access stories.

We currently support username and password for RSS feeds but not for websites that have form-based authentication (username and password within the HTML).

I've forwarded this site on our server engineer who's hard at work thinking of a good solution for this site and others that require this authentication.

Sorry, that was cut off for some reason. I'll repeat:

Third time's a charm? Your October 26th announcement said your newly added authentication capabilities allow "subscribers to access their feeds from publications like the Wall Street Journal."

Does that mean we can access the full text of WSJ articles if we're paid WSJ subscibers? If so, how? When I tried subscribing to WSJ RSS feeds (I included my paid WSJ subsriber username and password in your Web interface's feed setup), all I got was the article summaries. When I tried to get the full text, all I got was a message asking for my paid subscriber username and password.

Thanks!

Sorry! Rolling Eyes

This is what happens when you let your marketing guys write stuff without the engineers looking at it.

We can, currently, only access authenticated RSS feeds, not web pages that use form-based authentication.

We're looking into it!
