About a week ago I downloaded the trial version of FreeNews (180k), yesterday , when I paid my annual subscription fee, I downloaded a newer/different version (175k). The newest version will not update. The "Connecting to Server" notice appears, but nothing is downloaded. Reinstalling the "trial" version works fine. Running on a Treo 600. I downloaded the newest version from Handango.

Magnificent app btw!!!

Did you download from this Handango link? The version I downloaded from here is 180k and is identical to our version on http://mwap.at

Thanks. All is well, I found the problem. The version I downloaded from Handango was 1.0.3, the tryout version I downloaded earlier was 1.0.6.
