Regardless of what I do, or how I change the settings on my Blackberry 7130 when I enter my username it capitalizes the first letter.

I've tried going back and typing over, changing the input method, etc. No dice.

so I can't log in because my username is all lowercase. And the account page doesn't allow altering the username.

Thoughts?

It is difficult to do, but not impossible on the Blackberry. It insists on auto-capitalizing the first letter.

We ran into this problem early on and changed the server to be case-insensitive. Make sure to double-check your username and password because it shouldn't matter what the case is.

If you want to try using a lowercase letter anyway, then here's how you can do it:

- Enter the first letter twice like so: Uusername

- Hold down the shift key, and use the scrollwheel to move to the second lowercase letter (u, in my example).

- Hit the Del key to delete the first uppercase letter.
