It would be great to be able to do both of the following:

1. In a single operation, mark all articles in a feed as "read;" and

2. Select a range of articles in a feed and, in a single operation, mark them all as "read."

Great application!

Cheers,

-Alex

You can do #1 in the top-level feed view.

Simply select a feed and then choose "Mark Read".

You can also mark all feeds read in one operation, "Mark All Read"

Thanks!

Obviously, I made suggestion # 1 in ignorance.

I think suggestion # 2 was important, however. Let me explain:

I often have very short periods of time to look at fees on the go. As a result, even when I'm just scanning the articles' headlines, I may have to return two or three times before I get through the headlines and articles in a single feed. If there are 30 articles and I read articles 1 through 5, but can see from the headlines that 6 through 20 are not interesting, it would be helpful to be able to mark 6 through 20 as "Read" all at once (rather than separately marking each one, which takes a long time), so that when I next return to the feed, I can see that I should continue scanning the headlines starting with article 21.

Thanks.

Nice idea, and something I'd like to see extended to being able to delete specific sets of articles (other than whole feed contents) in one hit. And I'd really like to be able to send ALL marked articles to myself (or whoever) in one go rather than all at once.

Hmm... see next thread for continuation of this thought.

What would make that command even better is if we could press the letter "R" on the phone keyboard instead of having to navigate down the menu. For example, to update the article feed, you have the option to press the letter "U."

When the WM / Palm development is resumed (hopefully soon!), a full complement of shortcuts will be provided including what you're asking for.
